Two out of three...

So last year when I got really into cross-stitch, I thought it would be oh-so-creative to combine edgy/hip subject matter with a grandmotherly craft! So I made a couple things like this sampler. I didn't realize a bazillion other people had had the exact same idea and done it way better. haha But I still like how this came out, especially for one of my first attempts at embroidery.

Everything else is original, including the ugly broken heart and what are supposed to be razor blades.

("Ugh," my sister said, "You know jokes about emo kids cutting themselves aren't funny, right?" I do know it's not funny, it's just sad. I'm not the type to literally cut myself, but I can be self-destructive in other ways. So this was actually a sincere warning to myself, as someone who gets way to worked up about stupid shit.)
